APPLICATION
Machine aimed for the fine shredding of different kind of nonferrous minerals (clay, shale, bentonite, gypsum, sepiolite, magnesite, phosphate, soft limestone, marble, coke, talc, kaolin, rubble, etc.).
This type of process is essential in the preparation lines of dry process with low humidity degree (8-10%) although Domenech has designed and manufactured a new concept of shredder. It actuates through the impact and also through the friction, being it more decisive when the humidity degree is higher which means more tenacity and adherence of the material to treat.
Then, this shredder is appropriate for semi-wet process and for dry process. The maximum humidity of the material to treat and depending on its consistence curve and its adherence will be of 8%, arriving to 10% if the machine has installed the accessories of high adherence.
Depending on the model, the entry grain size should be between 0-150mm, getting an exit grain size of 350µm.
OPERATION
Material goes inside the feeding ramp with high tilt angle, crashing against the blades and accelerating instantaneously to a speed between 30-55 m/s (more than 200 km/h) depending on the application
The second impact against the primary jaw brakes the particles instantaneously until 2-4 m/s, generating the reduction of the grain size. Later, the material is rubbing against the jaws which have been specially designed for that task. The grains which get the desired grain size leave from the grinding chamber through the screen of low adherence located in the bottom of the chamber thanks to the action of gravity and of the blades.

CONSTRUCTION
The shredder is composed by self supporting frame, entry chute, rotor + blades, hydraulic cylinder for maintenance, classification screen.
Spares and internal pieces of the machine can be manufactured in wear resistant Steel to get more resistance.
